Ecosikh Ireland is organising a team volunteering day planting native trees at Lough Dan (Lough Dan Scout Centre) , Co. Wicklow, on Sunday 22nd February 2026.

• Approximate time: around 12pm

• Activity: Planting native trees and hedgerow saplings in a woodland setting

• Cost to volunteers: Free to attend (you just cover your own travel / lunch if needed)

What to expect

• You’ll be guided on the day, no experience needed

• We’ll be planting native trees and hedgerow

• Expect muddy boots, fresh air, and a good sense of achievement

• The work is gentle to moderate and you can take breaks as needed

What to bring

• Warm layers and waterproof jacket

• Wellies are a must

• Gloves (if you have them)

• Spade
